A critical part of completing a photograph is the final print. With a recent series, entitled "F/32," I was not satisfied with the results from traditional silver gelatin prints. While spectacular in their own right, silver prints were not delivering the results that I initially envisioned when making the exposure. I therefore needed to look at various alternative process printing methods, and specifically, printing in platinum palladium. The tonal range of deep blacks to whites gives a 3-dimensional appearance that compliments the depth rendered at F/32. Together, the complete process has allowed me to create my vision.
